ProDoula PreCertified Labor

Heather first became passionate about supporting others in pregnancy and childbirth when she was pregnant with her second son. As she researched methods to make her birth easier she began to wonder why managing pregnancy and minimizing labor pain was not a topic openly discussed. As she researched more she learned about the role of a Doula, she then decided that was a path she needed to follow. Heather loves helping other women, and their partners, to strive to have the birth they want.

Heather is originally from Texas but has lived all over the world. She enjoys traveling to other cities, states, and countries and immersing herself in other cultures. She is a 14 year veteran of the U.S. Army, which has made her very capable of handling stressful situations, and guiding those around her, to minimize their stress. She has spent her adult life serving others and continues to do so. Heather loves to spend time outdoors, camping, and hiking, with her husband and two boys. They spend much of their free time in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan enjoying nature.

Heather recently started going back to school, in hopes of becoming a labor and delivery nurse at University Wisconsin Green Bay.
