Cynthia Dortch

Cynthia Dortch is a mother of three girls, ages 9, 8 and 5. She is originally from Colorado but has had the opportunity to travel thanks to her husband's service in the Marine Corps. 

Cynthia was the oldest in the family helping raise her younger siblings, is where she developed her nurturing and mothering demeanor. She first became passionate about birth and postpartum after the birth of her third daughter. A healing birth and postpartum experience helped her passion grow into providing education and support to those around her. Within her work you will find non-judgement and individualized support. She truly believes a birthing persons birth and postpartum experience has a lasting impact on their life, and so, she strives to make those memories positive. 

Cynthia is continuing her education and is a student midwife at Midwifery College of Utah. Her next endeavors include childbirth education and training with VBAC in the Summer. 

Her continuous moving helps her build stronger relationships and emerges herself within the community. You can usually find her at local expos, events and more recently supporting our local high schools.

When she is not immersed with birth or school work, you will find her doing crafts with her girls, baking and trying to stay warm in the new to her cold weather.
