Chelsea Bertaud, Affiliated DoulaServices Provided: Postpartum Care
Pre-Certified Prodoula Postpartum & Infant Care
Chelsea “Belsea” Bertaud was born in California and moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin when she was in the sixth grade. She has two brothers that are ten and twelve years younger than her and loved to help care for them. Being that much older than her siblings she learned a great deal about taking care of others while growing up.
When Chelsea was 12 her best friend and cousin was diagnosed with bone cancer. Throughout that experience the nurses that cared for her cousin made a big impact in Chelsea’s life. So much so that she decided she wanted to become a nurse. Chelsea is now a postpartum and labor and delivery nurse at Bellin Health. It truly has become her passion and you can tell how much she loves her job when she talks about it. While working at Bellin she had the opportunity to care for two of our wonderful doulas as a postpartum nurse and learned a great deal more about being a doula, and also how amazing these doulas truly are. Chelsea was given the opportunity to become a postpartum doula and couldn’t have been more excited for it!
She loves being around people and helping them when they are in need. She firmly believes that having a baby is an exciting time, but can also be quite stressful and wants families to have the best experience possible.
On her downtime she likes to hang out with her dog Itty. She’s an avid traveler, enjoys singing and dancing and is a firm believer that coffee, glitter and an episode of friends can fix any bad mood.
